I am a freelance writer and editor living sometimes in Brooklyn and the other times at Rockaway Beach.
I co-host a podcast with my friend Bobby called Who? Weekly. It has been described as “the only relevant celeb publication” and “the perfect podcast about celebrities who make you say Who?” We have a book coming out this fall called “I Want to be Famous: When Everybody and Nobody Is a Celebrity” and you can pre-order it here.
I recently taught a class at the NYU graduate program for Magazine & Digital Storytelling on culture writing & reporting, and I also edit romance novellas for 831 Stories.
In the past, I hosted Slate's Conundrums, a virtual reality talk show, edited The Wing's magazine, No Man's Land and worked as Deputy Editor to help launch MEL, a publication started by the Dollar Shave Club. I was also an Associate Editor at New York magazine's Vulture. I’ve also written for publications like The New York Times magazine, Dwell, Eater, Racked, Billboard, Glamour, Marie Claire, The Wirecutter, Cosmopolitan and The Awl (RIP). You can read some of my work here.
